Seeing that headline, you might wonder, "Wait, they do weddings at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que? The place is always packed on weekends! How is this possible?" Yes, they do -- and it doesn't disrupt the dining room at all! I'll explain -- along with the usual photos and key song choices -- in today's blog post!
Although the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que's original location in Syracuse has been around for a long time, you may not have realized they added a private banquet room upstairs. (In fact, it's been there for quite awhile -- I had another wedding DJ event here, in 2015.)
Like a few of my other couples this year, Sarah and Ben proceeded with their original plans to say "I do" in 2020, but due to the pandemic-related restrictions in effect at the time, they limited the wedding to a core group of family, and postponed the larger celebration until now. But we still retained many of the usual wedding reception traditions and everyone had a great time!
Before getting into the photos, I have to apologize -- when I took out my camera, I realized the memory card was still in my computer back home. So I had to rely entirely on my phone for these photos. (This is why I'm a DJ, not a pro photographer!)

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Wedding DJ Photo Highlights
Sarah and Ben saved a little time during the "formalities" by using just one song to hold the bride/father and groom/mother dances simultaneously. This -- along with the super-efficient buffet service -- helped to get the dance floor open for everyone sooner than usual. I'm always open to any ideas to give everyone more dance floor time!
