Now that July is almost over, I’ve realized all of my July weddings have something in common. They’re all familiar venues I’ve DJ’ed in the past! Stephanie and Christopher’s reception brought me back to the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn for the first time since 2015. A great couple, wonderful crowd — we even extended the party by a full hour! Though I’ve played weddings in Auburn a few times before, this was my first visit to the Hilton Garden Inn. Jessica and Richard picked an excellent location for their reception! I was impressed with this relatively-new (just a few years old) venue, especially for the spacious ballroom and the adjacent spaces which also played a role in the evening’s festivities. I was equally, if not more impressed with the bride and groom’s dance moves… you’ll see in the pictures! (more…)
