It’s been a couple years since my last event (a 50th anniversary) at Twin Ponds — and a decade since my last wedding there — so it was nice to get back there for Virginia and Ethan’s wedding! This was my first time covering a ceremony on the property, as they have a new (to me) landscaped ceremony space on the lawn near the main entrance.

Katie and Matt’s wedding was my second out of three 2026 weddings at the beautiful, historic Lincklaen House in Cazenovia! These three weddings help keep the Lincklaen House at the top of my “most frequent venues” scoreboard. Click into the post for photos, song choices and more!

It’s been nine years since my last wedding at Bellevue Country Club, so I was very excited when Harry booked me to DJ his and Kaitlyn’s big day. During one of our planning discussions, I mentioned how a previous Bellevue wedding was to be partly outdoors, but the weather that day forced us to stay inside. My second wedding of the 2026 season took me to Cassville, a hamlet due south of Utica in the southeastern corner of Oneida County. My 2026 wedding season is underway! It started a bit later than usual, but it’ll also end a bit later than usual. My 15th season as a wedding DJ wrapped-up with Emily and Dan at the scenic Skyline Lodge at Highland Forest Park in Fabius.
