It’s been nine years since my last wedding at Bellevue Country Club, so I was very excited when Harry booked me to DJ his and Kaitlyn’s big day. During one of our planning discussions, I mentioned how a previous Bellevue wedding was to be partly outdoors, but the weather that day forced us to stay inside. Many believe it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day. If you want good luck, book me as your DJ and hold the reception at the Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse! I say that because with Diane and Greg’s wedding, my record for rainy day receptions at Bellevue now stands at 2-for-2. But rain didn’t let anyone down! My goal is to be completely caught-up on my 2014 event blogging by Christmas… still not sure if I’ll make it, but I’m getting really close! Maria and Ben hail from the Utica area, but selected the beautiful Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse as the site for their wedding reception. Although a planned outdoor cocktail hour had to be held indoors due to the weather, most guests probably didn’t even realize there was a change. As expected of any professional venue, the Bellevue had a solid backup plan in place (of which I was also aware) and the entire evening went off without a hitch! (more…)
