After the pandemic forced Kiarra and Chris to postpone their wedding reception for 14 months — and find a new venue in the process — family and friends finally had the chance to celebrate at Camp Brockway, a rustic venue tucked away in its own little section of Pratt’s Falls County Park, just a few miles south of Manlius.

It’s always exciting to visit new venues, and this one was special because “Our Farm” between Manlius and Cazenovia is not only a popular place for hay rides and pumpkins in the fall — it’s owned and operated by the bride’s parents, who also live on the property. Fall is a great season to host a wedding in Central New York… it’s not too hot, it’s not too cold, and the changing colors of the leaves make for a spectacular backdrop. The only unknown is the weather, but that wasn’t a problem for Melissa and Ryan. A few clouds were no problem at all, on a beautiful wedding day that was sandwiched between two rainy days. (more…)
