After 2020 was the year where everyone had to stay apart, I’m grateful that this second half of 2021 has allowed everyone to get back together. It was awesome to see some familiar faces at Jessica and Alex’s wedding reception at the Tailwater Lodge in Altmar — including two couples who had me DJ their weddings over the past several years!

My final wedding of the 2018 wedding season holds the all-time record for “latest wedding in the year.” After all, there isn’t much room to go later than December 29! The season wrapped up at a familiar venue — Tailwater Lodge in Altmar — with a familar couple. Bride Irene is the sister of Martin, whose wedding I DJ’ed in 2016 (where Irene was a bridesmaid). One venue getting a lot of buzz recently is the Tailwater Lodge in Altmar, which opened just a few years ago. Located along the Salmon River, it’s a favorite spot for anglers, but it’s also a well-appointed venue for weddings. Emily and Nicholas’ wedding was not only my first wedding ever at this venue, but my first of two booked for 2018. Check out photos and more in today’s blog post! (more…)
