If you've been browsing my event photo posts, the first few shots from Rob and Shannon's wedding might look familiar -- I was the DJ for another wedding at Borio's Restaurant along Oneida Lake in Cicero just two weeks earlier. Once again, we were lucky to have perfect weather conditions for the ceremony outside, followed by a great party inside.
Similar to the setup at Borio's two weeks earlier, some of my equipment was set-up outside for the ceremony. While music was provided by a live bagpipe band, I was asked to set up a wireless microphone so everyone could hear the officiant, as well as the bride and groom as they spoke their vows. This was especially helpful for guests who could not navigate the stairs from the main patio down to the grassy ceremony area. Thanks to the multiple doorways leading into the downstairs reception room and help from my wife, some guests were still outside by the time we had the equipment moved inside and reception music going!
