Fall is a great season to host a wedding in Central New York... it's not too hot, it's not too cold, and the changing colors of the leaves make for a spectacular backdrop. The only unknown is the weather, but that wasn't a problem for Melissa and Ryan. A few clouds were no problem at all, on a beautiful wedding day that was sandwiched between two rainy days.
For this wedding, I was asked to provide music and sound outdoors for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Then, the rest of the afternoon would be indoors. See the very first photo in the album below for the equipment set-up layout. My DJ equipment and one speaker were set-up outdoors. Another speaker and all of my dance lighting were set-up indoors. When the time came to move, the entire DJ table was picked up and carried inside, along with the one speaker which was outside. In less than 10 minutes, we were up and running once again, inside the Camp Brockway lodge.
