Bianca and Garrett’s wedding will definitely stick out in my memory! The ceremony was unique and we had a great dance floor crowd during the reception. But… admittedly, I was afraid it was going to be difficult to get people dancing. I’ll explain in today’s blog post. It’s been awhile since my last visit, so it was nice to venture down into Hamilton, a charming village in the heart of Madison County, for Mary and Anthony’s wedding reception. The venue was the Colgate Inn, where I played another reception in 2013 — in fact, it was my blog post about that wedding which prompted Mary to contact me last summer about my availability. I’m glad she did because, as you’ll see from the photos in this blog post, it turned out to be a great reception! (more…)

Back to blogging — finally! It’s been a busy summer. For this wedding, it’s a road trip southeast of Syracuse to the charming village of Hamilton, in Madison County. Actually, I didn’t even see the village for Nicole and Paul’s wedding reception — for this wonderful late June evening, friends and family converged on the White Eagle Conference Center, a few miles outside of the village.
