My 2022 wedding season wrapped up with a return to a familiar venue, the Sherwood Inn, located in Skaneateles, across the street from the lake that bears the same name as the village. Although I’ve performed a handful of wedding receptions at the Sherwood Inn, this was my first couple who also held their ceremony on the property. Details inside this blog post!

My first wedding DJ committment for 2022 was also my first ever at the Sinclair of Skaneateles. Although the wedding didn’t cooperate with Sarah and Ryan’s plans to get married outside, we all pivoted smoothly to “plan B” indoors and had a wonderful evening! Erin and Steven couldn’t have asked for a better day to host their nuptuals in the beautiful Village of Skaneateles. It was the first weekend where we had really nice, warm weather in Central New York, so Skaneateles was abuzz with people strolling through the various shops and enjoying the sights along the lakeshore. Erin and Steven’s wedding brought me back to the Sherwood Inn for my second time — though there was a “first” at this event. (more…)
It was with much pleasure that I had the honor of providing music and emcee duties at the wedding of Becca and Mike. I first met Mike shortly after I met the woman who would become my own wife, back in 2009. He’s a great guy and my wife and I were very happy for him when he met Becca. From the time we were all first introduced, it was apparent that Mike and Becca had something special and we just knew there would eventually be some wedding bells. Fast-forward to September 13, 2014… at the Frog Pond Bed and Breakfast in Skaneateles. (more…)
Hello, blog readers! It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? It’s been a very busy wedding season — not that I’m complaining! But I’m glad I’m finally catching up on some blogging. Back on the first of June, I had the pleasure of playing Dana and Stephen’s wedding reception at the beautiful Sherwood Inn on Skaneateles Lake.
