Erica and Kregg picked a wonderful mid-May day to get married. The start of my 2013 Wedding Season took me to a familiar venue -- The Beeches Conference Center and Restaurant in Rome. The reception was excellent: a great group of guests, plenty of dancing, even one or two sing-alongs! I've got more than 20 photos to share.
Last year, I played a reception downstairs at The Beeches, but for this reception, we were upstairs. Erica and Kregg used the Terrace area for their cocktail hour, then moved things down into the Turin room for dinner and dancing. A couple of quick items of interest before we get to the photos:
- First Dance: Michael Bublé / Save the Last Dance for Me
- Groom and Mother: Josh Groban / You Raise Me Up
- Cake Cutting: Adam Sandler / I Wanna Grow Old With You
- Last Dance of the Night: Jason Mraz / I Won't Give Up
Erica and Kregg met in college and many of their friends from school were in attendance... so they picked plenty of songs in advance that they knew would be big hits with the crowd, and the guests had a few great requests of their own. And now, the photos -- these shots are also available on Facebook, where you can tag yourself and your friends!
As usual, these are just a few quick shots I grabbed while tending to the tunes. The professional photographer's photos will certainly look much better! Erica and Kregg used Kristen Charles Photography from Watertown and she's online at www.thepinksmith.com.
