This was my second wedding at the Springside Inn, located just south of the City of Auburn, not too far from the northern end of Owasco Lake. Obscure trivia: my first wedding there was last year, making the Springside Inn the only venue on my wedding DJ schedules both for 2022 and 2023.
The Springside's ballroom somehow feels both roomy and cozy at the same time. For this wedding, I was on the "stage" at one end of the room. For my previous wedding, the newlyweds had their sweetheart table on the stage, and I was off to the side. Both setups allow me to place the speakers in roughly the same spots, so the sound carries through the entire room without any problems.

Kenzie and Adam had a live string quartet for their ceremony, which was held offsite. The quartet then came over to the Springside Inn to play during cocktail hour, which took place in the area just outside of the ballroom. When it was time to open the ballroom doors, the string quartet wrapped up and I took over for the rest of the evening.
