Katie and Matt’s wedding was my second out of three 2026 weddings at the beautiful, historic Lincklaen House in Cazenovia! These three weddings help keep the Lincklaen House at the top of my “most frequent venues” scoreboard. Click into the post for photos, song choices and more!
In case you’re wondering, this was my 11th wedding at the Lincklaen House, putting it ahead of the “second most frequent” venue by 3. Similar to my last few weddings here, the majority of my equipment goes in the lobby, which is cleared out to serve as the dance floor during weddings. Inside the dining room, which doubles as a ceremony space, I just have 2 wireless speakers so guests can hear the ceremony and, later, the dinner music.

Floor space is usually at a premium in the dining room. Although I still usually have room for speaker stands, this wedding was particularly tight. I had to put speakers on top of the faux ceiling over the kitchen doors so they wouldn’t need any floor space. (It made me wish I could somehow hang speakers from the ceiling like they do at some concert venues!)
Unfortunately, I didn’t take the time to stop and grab pictures of the dining room, but I don’t think anyone would be that interested in seeing a speaker on top of a wall anyway.
For now, enjoy Katie and Matt’s song selections and scroll down for dance floor photos!
