Wedding: Andrea and Larry at Turning Stone, 4/28/18

Into my 8th year as a wedding DJ, it's hard to believe there are still some major venues where I haven't done a wedding yet.  I've DJ'ed a corporate holiday party at Turning Stone Casino Resort before, but it wasn't until now that I've DJ'ed a wedding there.  Had a blast helping Andrea and Larry celebrate! And big props to the Turning Stone staff who run a tight ship and keep everything flowing smoothly.

Wedding: Paula and Sarah at Embassy Suites East Syracuse, 2/17/18

The 2018 wedding season is off to a wonderful start!  Had a great time helping Paula and Sarah celebrate their nuptials at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse, just off Carrier Circle.  My first wedding of 2018 also marked the debut of my brand new wireless uplighting!  Check out photos, song selections and more in today's blog post.

Peter's Pointers: Never Hire an Uninsured Wedding DJ

Here's one question you might not think to ask when shopping for a DJ: "Are you insured?" An uninsured DJ might be cheaper up-front, but can cost you much more in the long run. I'm proud to say I'm insured -- find out why that's so important in this edition of Peter's Pointers.

Wedding: Molly and Quinn at Marriott Syracuse Downtown, 9/23/17

Molly and Quinn's wedding at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown was my last for the 2017 season. Like many TV shows, this "season finalé" pulled out all the stops. From a technical standpoint, it was one of my most complex weddings to date. But I love a good challenge and it all came together very nicely.  Check out the photos, song selections and some surprises in this blog post!

Wedding: Julia and Michael at The 1917 Ranch in Richfield Springs, 9/10/17

Imagine this: 19 days before your wedding, a tornado destroys your venue! That's exactly what happened to Julia and Michael. They had to find a new venue -- then notify guests and vendors -- with very little time to spare. Talk about testing a marriage, before it even begins! But there's a happy ending -- I'll explain (and share some photos) in this blog post.

Wedding: Amy and Michael in The Thousand Islands, 8/26/17

It would be impossible to have asked for a better day for Amy and Michael's Thousand Islands wedding.  DJ services were provided at two locations in Clayton, along the picturesque Saint Lawrence River.  Inside this blog post, photos from the day, along with Amy and Michael's key song selections and my usual "DJ point of view" on how the day flowed.

Wedding: Stephanie and Larry at Hart's Hill Inn, Whitesboro, 8/5/17

Stephanie and Larry's wedding reception brought me to Hart's Hill Inn in Whitesboro, just a few miles outside of Utica. This was my first visit as a wedding DJ, but I've visited several times during my days as a radio DJ. Check out the blog post for photos, song selections and more memories!

Wedding: Ashley and Edward at Lincklaen House, Cazenovia, 7/22/17

Ashley and Edward's wedding day brought me and nearly 100 of their closest friends to the historic Lincklaen House in Cazenovia.  So far, every wedding I've done at the Lincklaen House has included both the ceremony and the reception.  Ashley and Edward's did as well, but it was somewhat different from the others.  I'll tell you how -- and I'll share some photos and other highlights in this blog post.

Wedding: Stephanie and Christopher at Hilton Garden Inn, Auburn, 7/15/17

Now that July is almost over, I've realized all of my July weddings have something in common.  They're all familiar venues I've DJ'ed in the past!  Stephanie and Christopher's reception brought me back to the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn for the first time since 2015.   A great couple, wonderful crowd -- we even extended the party by a full hour!  Photos, song selections, a video and more in this blog post.
