Wedding DJ Uplighting

IT’S SO GREAT TO BE BACK! Back to weddings, weddings with dance floors, back to Skaneateles, back to The Sherwood Inn! Can you tell I’m happy?? After just one wedding during the insanely crazy 2020, it was soooo nice to finally kick off my 2021 wedding season. Check out the photos and song choices in this post!

A very big thank you to Cydney and Jeffry for choosing me to serve as the DJ and MC for their wedding celebration at the Onondaga Golf and Country Club in Fayetteville! It’s always a pleasure to add another venue to my portfolio, and we had a great dance floor crowd at this reception!

My wedding season hasn’t reached into November since 2014, but this year I had two! (And they weren’t the last ones, either!)  Sharon and Stephen’s wedding brought me back to a familiar venue, Traditions at the Links in East Syracuse.  This was a fun wedding with an amazing crowd… check out the photos and more in this blog post. One venue getting a lot of buzz recently is the Tailwater Lodge in Altmar, which opened just a few years ago. Located along the Salmon River, it’s a favorite spot for anglers, but it’s also a well-appointed venue for weddings.  Emily and Nicholas’ wedding was not only my first wedding ever at this venue, but my first of two booked for 2018.  Check out photos and more in today’s blog post! Every wedding is unique in some way, but Rachel and Kevin’s wedding was especially unique. Their ceremony and reception took place atop a hill overlooking her parents’ farm. While I haven’t actually sat down to count it, Wolf Oak Acres is probably the venue where I’ve DJ’ed the most weddings so far.  If not, it’s gotta be pretty close to the top!  Tiffany and Matt were my second out of three 2018 weddings at this Madison County venue, just a few miles outside of Oneida. Phew!  What a busy June it has been… four weddings in four weekends!  July will be a bit calmer, so it’s time to catch up with the blog.  The first of those four June weddings brought me back to Wolf Oak Acres, where Kimberly and Giovanni’s pondside ceremony was followed by a reception in the venue’s 8,000 square foot barn.  Read on for details, photos and song selections. Now that July is almost over, I’ve realized all of my July weddings have something in common.  They’re all familiar venues I’ve DJ’ed in the past!  Stephanie and Christopher’s reception brought me back to the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn for the first time since 2015.   A great couple, wonderful crowd — we even extended the party by a full hour!  Photos, song selections, a video and more in this blog post.
