The penultimate event of my 15th wedding DJ season brought me to the scenic Greenview Country Club, located in West Monroe. Amanda and Karl had a perfect fall day to get married and a great group of friends and family to help celebrate. As always, photos, song picks and more in this blog post!
My first wedding at Greenview means I get to add another pin — #96 — to my “Wedding DJ Venue Map.” When will I get to add the 100th pin, and where will it be? Since I only have one more wedding for 2025 (and it’s a venue that’s already on the map), we’ll have to wait until 2026 to find out.
From Syracuse, it’s pretty easy to get to Greenview — you just hop on 81 north to Central Square, then it’s about 10 minutes east on route 49 and you’re there. On this late October day, there were hardly any golfers on the course, so the newlyweds and their wedding party were able to get some great photos with the fairways and foliage in the background.

While a 4-hour timeline can seem very short on paper, yes, it can work! I can personally attest to this, as my own wedding was only 4 hours, also including the ceremony.
At first, I was nervous about having just 90 minutes at the end for “open dance floor” time, because it could be impacted by any kind of delay earlier in the timeline.
Although we did have a couple of things that ran longer than expected, they were balanced out by some things that ran much shorter than expected. In the end, we still had a pretty decent chunk of time for dancing!
Once we opened the dance floor, I combined all of Amanda and Karl’s requests with a handful of other dance floor favorites to help everyone celebrate.

Thanks again to Amanda and Karl for entrusting me with the sound for your ceremony and the music for the rest of the reception! I know there are plenty of choices out there, so every wedding I get to DJ is a privilege and an honor. Best wishes to you both for many years of love and happiness together!
