This is the first of two weddings I’m playing at Borio’s Lakeside in Cicero this month alone. What a beautiful venue! Right on the shore of Oneida Lake… and a wonderful day. Originally, the forecast had called for a chance of rain, but we lucked out with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures for an outdoor ceremony, followed by an indoor reception. (more…)
Another wonderful wedding to cap off the “unofficial” end to summer 2011. Zach and Alyssa got married over Labor Day weekend, and their reception at Orchard Vali Golf Club in LaFayette was a blast. Their guests love to dance — keeping the floor filled right up to the end at 11:30pm. The crowd was so enthusiastic, we actually went a few minutes past with an extra encore song. (more…)

Had a great time helping Dawn and Joseph celebrate their wedding at The Otesaga Resort in Cooperstown! I haven’t been to Cooperstown since 1996… while I remember driving past The Otesaga then, I’ve never actually been inside. Beautiful location, right on the lake. This reception was unique in that we had two different set-ups: one for the cocktail hour outside on the veranda, then we had to move indoors for the reception. (more…)
