Being in my 8th year as a wedding DJ, "first times" don't happen for me as often as they used to, but Kathy and Duncan's 25th anniversary presented three -- including one nobody was expecting! It was my first time performing a wedding anniversary party, my first booking at Drumlins, and for the third "first," you'll have to read onward!
Chris and Ashley's wedding was one of the first (if not the first) to take place at Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club following some major renovations. Phew! What a busy June it has been... four weddings in four weekends! July will be a bit calmer, so it's time to catch up with the blog. The first of those four June weddings brought me back to Wolf Oak Acres, where Kimberly and Giovanni's pondside ceremony was followed by a reception in the venue's 8,000 square foot barn. My third wedding of 2018 was my fourth at the historic Lincklaen House in Cazenovia. Into my 8th year as a wedding DJ, it's hard to believe there are still some major venues where I haven't done a wedding yet. I've DJ'ed a corporate holiday party at Turning Stone Casino Resort before, but it wasn't until now that I've DJ'ed a wedding there. Had a blast helping Andrea and Larry celebrate!
