Despite 2021 being a somewhat “abbreviated” wedding season, I managed to DJ at one venue twice: Traditions at the Links in East Syracuse! Wedding #2 for the 2021 wedding season is in the books! I’m so glad Katie and Brett finally had their chance to say the vows and celebrate the next big chapter in their lives, even if world events delayed the plans by nearly a year. But the wait was well worth it, as guests enjoyed partying the night away at Traditions at the Links in East Syracuse.

My latest wedding took me to one of my favorite venues — Traditions at the Links in East Syracuse — for the second time this wedding season. It’s a wonderful venue and I’m always happy to return, especially when the dance floor is consistently packed throughout the entire evening, as it was with Maura, Nicholas and their guests. Plenty of fun and lots of great photos to share from my latest wedding! Emily and Adam got married and hosted their reception at the DoubleTree Hotel in East Syracuse, just off Carrier Circle. The couple welcomed their first child earlier this year, and his presence made for quite the adorable wedding ceremony. My decision to add a second sound system to my arsenal of equipment last winter helped me push the envelope at Sara and Bill’s wedding ceremony and reception at Traditions at the Links in East Syracuse. Although I’ve already had some ceremony/reception combos where I used both systems to provide sound in two places, this was the first time I needed to provide sound in three different areas at the same venue. Bethany and Andy’s wedding reception was among the highlights of the 2013 wedding season for me… not to “play favorites” among my customers, but I’ve known Bethany and her family since she, her brothers and I were all in the same elementary school (Go, Stokes Eagles!), so it was an honor to DJ this reception, and it was great to catch-up with friends and neighbors “from back home,” some of whom I literally haven’t seen since high school. A wedding celebration after the actual wedding day: Jennifer and Dan chose to have a small, intimate wedding on the beach in North Carolina in May.
